Every year, the city hosts a morning 5K Run in the Park, a pancake breakfast sponsored by local community groups, open recreational swimming at the aquatics center, live afternoon music, and a patriotic flyover.
In 2026, the city capped off the day with back-to-back concerts at the amphitheater followed by an impressive grand finale: a 400-drone light show choreographed to music, offering a modern, fire-safe alternative to traditional fireworks.
Summer Concert Series at Crown Valley Park
Running from June through September 2026, the Summer Concert Series hosts free bi-weekly performances at the Crown Valley Park Amphitheater. Residents bring lawn chairs and picnic dinners to enjoy retro rock, country, top 40, and tribute bands.
